The Tynor Leg Traction Brace G 05 is a traction halter applied to the leg for below-knee traction. Its very large holding surface area distributes pressure evenly, making it easy to apply and remove, reusable, and comfortable to wear, including on weak or geriatric skin. Secure hook-and-loop closures with a reverse-buckle mechanism hold the brace firmly, while traction straps and rings couple conveniently with a pulley traction system. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.
- Three-layered PU-bonded fabric: a plush top layer, a cushioning polyurethane middle layer, and an inner layer with good frictional characteristics.
- Multiple hook-and-loop closures for controlled compression, easy application and removal, with no loosening.
- Large skin contact area helps avoid vaso-constriction and skin peeling, and eliminates the need for an adhesive.

May assist in managing discomfort associated with the following conditions:
- Below-knee traction for reduction of fracture of the upper leg

- The area may be shaved, and a mild adhesive system such as tincture of benzoin may be used to enhance comfort and effectiveness.
- Place the leg traction brace on the below-knee portion of the leg.
- Tighten the straps to a comfortable, secure position using the reverse-buckle mechanism.
- Hook the traction straps to the pulley system through the nylon rings.
- Apply the traction weight as per the instructions of a qualified doctor.

- Close the hook-and-loop fasteners before washing.
- Hand wash with mild detergent in water below 30°C without wringing. Dry in shade on a flat surface.
- Do not dry-clean, iron or bleach.
- Use this product under the strict guidance of a qualified doctor.
- Discontinue use and seek medical advice in case of impaired sensation, impaired blood flow, allergy, rash or itching, or if pain increases or persists.
- Consult your doctor in case of concurrent use of another medical device.
- Monitor the foot and leg for any burning sensation, irritation or pain, and check that pressure on the peroneal nerve is minimised.
- Ensure traction force is transmitted in full, with no loss due to friction; apply the traction weight only as directed by a qualified doctor.
- Keep out of reach of children.

Is the brace reusable?
Yes. Unlike single-use skin traction sets, the leg traction brace is designed for reuse with easy application and removal.
How is the size chosen?
Measure the circumference around the calf approximately 6 inches (15 cm) below the knee and select from Small, Medium, Large or Extra Large.
Does it need adhesive?
The large skin contact area eliminates the need for adhesive, though a mild system may be used for added comfort under professional guidance.
Is it suitable for delicate skin?
Yes. It is designed to suit weak or geriatric skin and helps avoid skin peeling.
