Worth It

I was in agony because I couldn't help but use my thumb and even when I was conscious of being careful with it, I was still knocking it and the inflammation just got to the point where I stopped using my hand altogether and let tasks and jobs pile up. This splint has been a godsend. It takes a while to get used to not being able to grip using the thumb, but it does completely immobilise it and thus it stops the pain from getting caught up and from forgetting you shouldn't be using it. It's restored my ability to at least use my hand, just not to the full extent.
