The Tynor Pelvic Traction Kit with Weight Bag (G24) is a complete traction system designed to apply uniform, controlled traction to the lumbar, sacral and thoracic areas of the vertebral column. The pelvic belt holds the pelvic area like a halter, and its oblique traction straps are designed to direct the force to the spine rather than the lateral sides of the pelvis. The kit connects the belt to a spreader bar, traction pulley bracket, traction cord and a fillable weight bag, so it can be set up at home or in a clinic. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.

- Wrap the belt around the pelvic area with the traction straps on the underside.
- Hook the traction straps to the spreader bar and traction pulley bracket.
- The spreader bar helps balance the traction force equally on both sides of the body.
- Fill the weight bag to the load calculated by your clinician and connect it via the traction cord and pulley.
- Lie on a hard, smooth surface or hospital bed so the traction load is applied evenly, under the strict guidance of a qualified doctor or physiotherapist.

- Belt and traction cord: cold hand wash in mild detergent without wringing; dry in shade on a flat surface.
- Do not iron, dry-clean, bleach or use a brush on the fabric parts.
- Pulley bracket, spreader bar and weight bag: clean with a simple wet wipe, with or without detergent.
- This equipment should be used under the strict guidance and vigil of a qualified doctor only.
- The weight of traction and counter-traction should be carefully calculated by a qualified expert.
- Keep a careful watch for any adverse symptoms during the entire traction period.
- Discontinue use and seek guidance from a qualified doctor in the case of impaired sensation, impaired blood flow, allergy, rash or itching, or if pain increases or persists.
- Misuse or improper use of the device can lead to adverse effects and may reduce the support provided.

What sizes are available?
The pelvic belt comes in Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large. Measure the circumference 3 inches below the navel to select your size.
What weight should I use?
The traction load must be calculated by a qualified orthopaedic doctor or physiotherapist for your individual needs.
Do I need a special bed?
