Walker Boot Air (Long) foot orthosis is an innovative solution providing structured support to the lower leg during periods of recovery and rest. It offers enhanced comfort compared to standard supports. It provides supportive stabilisation during daily functioning, helping to restore confidence in movement.
The walker boot is designed for structured support following severe strain or sprain of the foot, ankle, or lower leg, as advised by a physician. With a wider rocker bottom, these boots promote a natural gait, reduced plantar pressure, enhanced stability and comfort to the lower leg.
Comfort of use
The pneumatic stabilisation feature is more comfortable than standard structured supports. First of all, it significantly improves the quality of the patient's daily functioning. It is light, and its shape allows you to move more freely. The interior of the orthosis is insulated from its structural elements with a soft filling. Thanks to this, it does not hurt or cause abrasions when worn.
It is very light, and it also has pneumatic regulation, which increases the effectiveness of stabilisation. It is made of materials that allow the skin to breathe, so it does not irritate the patient's body or cause chafing. Wearing it is comfortable even in hot weather. The design of the orthosis also helps to maintain proper hygiene of the injured leg.
Great stabilization
The orthosis stabilises the patient's foot and shin not only thanks to the rigid sole and side supports. Comfortable stabilisation of the ankle joint is provided by the adjustable pneumatic system. After unfastening all the belts and setting the knob in the "deflate" position, place the leg inside the stabiliser. Then fasten all the straps, but do not tighten them too tightly. When the product is properly positioned on the leg, turn the knob to the "inflate" position and press the pump button. We pump as long as the gains obtain a comfortable degree of compression. This system allows the orthosis to be perfectly adapted to the shape of the patient's body. As a result, it is not only very comfortable to wear but also prevents any undesirable uncontrolled movement of the ankle.
Easy to clean
If necessary, the soft orthosis insole can be washed by hand in lukewarm water, using soap. After washing, it should be dried unfolded in a shaded place. It cannot be tumble-dried or ironed. Make sure the product is completely dry before reusing it.
