Walker Boot Air (Long)foot orthosis is an innovative solution that provides stabilization during convalescence after serious injuries in this part of the leg. It is much more comfortable than traditional plaster. It reduces the foot load during everyday functioning and improves the patient's quality of life when returning to full fitness.
Walker boot is designed for rehabilitation after injury, fracture, sprains, or surgery of the foot, ankle, or lower leg. The boots provide support to the ankle and leg without inhibiting mobility. They can be a substitute for the cast, This boot can be used in case of early cast removal. With a wider rocker bottom, these boots promote a natural gait, reduced plantar pressure, enhanced stability and comfort to the lower leg.
This type of stabilizer can be used for injuries such as fractures in the ankle and foot, as well as for 2nd and 3rd-degree sprains.
Orthopedic doctors also recommend it to patients with bone fractures and after surgery on this part of the leg.
The long Walker Boot Air orthosis perfectly stabilizes the ankle laterally. In this way, it prevents the injury from worsening or renewing.
It can also be used after surgeries, such as ligament reconstruction. It is also helpful in the treatment of tendon sheath inflammation which requires stiffening.
The presented stabilizer allows the foot to work in the right range throughout the recovery period, which prevents overloading the knee, hip, and even the spine. A properly profiled sole allows the patient to walk close to nature. The sole of the orthosis is very stable and non-slip, which significantly increases the safety of its use.

The pneumatic moon boot is incomparably more comfortable than the standard plaster cast used to stabilize serious ankle injuries. First of all, it significantly improves the quality of the patient's daily functioning. It is light and its shape allows you to move more freely. The interior of the orthosis is insulated from its structural elements with a soft filling. Thanks to this, it does not hurt or causes abrasions when worn.
It is very light, it also has pneumatic regulation, which increases the effectiveness of stabilization. It is made of materials that allow the skin to breathe, so it does not irritate the patient's body or cause chafing. Wearing it is comfortable even in hot weather. The design of the orthosis also helps to maintain proper hygiene of the injured leg.
Great stabilization
The orthosis stabilizes the patient's foot and shin not only thanks to the rigid sole and side supports. Comfortable immobilization of the ankle joint is primarily provided by the pneumatic system. After unfastening all the belts and setting the knob in the "deflate" position, place the leg inside the stabilizer. Then fasten all the straps, but do not tighten them too tightly. When the product is properly positioned on the leg, turn the knob to the "inflate" position and press the pump button. We pump as long as the gains obtain a comfortable degree of compression. This system allows the orthosis to be perfectly adapted to the shape of the patient's body. As a result, it is not only very comfortable to wear, but also prevents any undesirable uncontrolled movement of the ankle.
Easy to clean
If necessary, the soft orthosis insole can be washed by hand in lukewarm water, using soap. After washing, it should be dried unfolded in a shaded place. It cannot be tumble-dried or ironed. Make sure the product is completely dry before reusing it.

I tore my hamstring just before Christmas 2021. After two more sprains I searched for a hamstring support and came across Tynor in WA. With the support on I am back riding the bike and playing Bowls again. I will soon be able to get rid of the support and confidently return to a normal life.
Mal.
Pediatric knee immobilizers that are”fun” are hard to come by, which is why after searching online, I chose this one.
I’m in the USA and had it shipped here, we call it my son’s “Bluey brace from Australia” :) he likes to wear it and it fits. He is 6 and 44 lbs - I’d say he’s the largest you could be to wear it - would be great in a larger Ped size, too. Or, other animas! Overall happy with it!
It needs a professional to adjust. I have not been able to use this for two reason's. My GP cannot adjust it to suit me and although I bought a universal size, it does not fit.
