The Tynor Cervical Traction Kit (Sleeping) G 26 is a complete traction apparatus designed to apply controlled traction to the cervical and upper dorsal vertebrae while lying down. It is designed to gently stretch the musculature and connective tissue of the neck, helping to take pressure off the intervertebral joint space and offload the anterior vertebral bodies. The compact kit assembles from a flexible bedside pulley bracket, head halter, spreader bar, cord and a custom-fillable weight bag so traction can be carried out at home or in a clinic. - Anatomic head halter in three-layered PU-bonded fabric with hypoallergenic cotton stockinette and a polymer gel insert for cushioned occiput support with no pressure points.
- Lightweight yet sturdy cast-aluminium spreader bar holds the two halter cord loops.
- Smooth-surfaced traction cord woven for strength to minimise frictional loss.
- Weight bag can be custom filled with water or sand from 1 to 12 kg.

- Stiff neck muscles and mechanical stress due to poor posture
- Hang the traction pulley to the head side of the bed and align the pulleys correctly.
- Slide the head through the halter; place the occipital pad at the back aligning with the occiput and the chin pad in front under the chin.
- Adjust both pads for accurate, comfortable positioning and fasten the hook-and-loop straps, trimming any excess strap.
- Attach the halter cord to the loops of the spreader bar.
- Hang the weight bag on the pulley using the provided hook.
- Use this traction system with the patient lying on the bed.

- Fabric components: hand wash with mild detergent in water below 30°C without wringing. Dry in shade on a flat surface. Do not dry-clean, iron or bleach.

Is this kit for lying or seated use?
This kit is designed for use while lying down on a bed. A separate sitting version is available for seated upright use.
How much weight can the bag hold?
The weight bag can be custom filled with water or sand from 1 to 12 kg. A range of 3 to 6 kg is commonly recommended; your healthcare professional will advise.
Will the pulley fit my bed?
The flexible pulley bracket is designed to adjust to most bed types and a wide range of traction setups.
Does it need professional supervision?
