Cervical Traction Kit (Sitting) with Weight Bag is a complete apparatus designed to provide traction to the cervical and upper dorsal vertebras. It relieves pressure by stretching the musculature and connective tissue components of the cervical spine. ◄Construction

• Cervical Traction Overdoor Pulley is designed to be fitted on top of any door, having a width from 25 mm to 50 mm. Made out of coated mild steel. the long pulley holder with 3 pulleys, provides easy transmission of force from the Cervical Traction Head Halter to the weight set. 

• Cervical Traction Head Halter is a highly anatomic halter to provide practical and comfortable traction. Made out of three-layered aesthetically pleasing, PU-bonded fabric. The skin interface layers provide a soft feel and plush look. The polymer gel insert gives excellent cushioning to the occiput with no pressure points.

• The cervical Traction Spreader Baris designed to hold the two loops of cord coming out of two sides of the head halter. The Spreader Bar is cast out of aluminum to provide a lightweight yet sturdy body.

• Traction Cord 10 ft.is designed to provide a smooth surface so that there is no loss of force of traction because of friction. Woven out of Nylon for strength and long life. 

• Traction Weight Bag is made out of a polyvinyl sheet. It can be custom filled to get weight from 1 to 12 Kgs using water or sand. Easy to use, and convenient to store, when not in use.

◄How To Use

• The Cervical Traction overhead Pulley is either hung on the top of a door or on the wall using a wall bracket.
• Cervical Traction Head Halter - Unfasten the hook loop side straps. Slide the head through the halter Cushioned pad should be placed at the backside, aligning with the occiput
• The front pad comes under the chin Fasten hook loop straps to get a stable, comfortable fit. Cut excessive belt if needed.
• The halter can now be connected to the rest of the Tynor Cervical Traction kit.
• Before use ensures correct posture under the strict guidance of a qualified doctor.
• The two straps from the Cervical Traction Head Halter are hooked to the slots in the Cervical Traction Spreader Bar.
• The cervical Traction Spreader Bar is then connected to the weights through Traction Cord and Cervical Traction Overdoor Pulley.
• This traction system is used on the patient sitting upright on a chair.

  1. For effective use, maintain a slight forward angle of the neck to have a comfortable force balance on the occiput and the chin.
