Product Description

The Tynor Tetra Walking Stick (L 45) is a four-point quad cane designed to help provide extra stability and support for everyday walking. Its tetrapod base with a flexible neck is designed to keep all four feet in contact with the ground, helping to support a natural walking pattern. The height-adjustable telescopic tube and ergonomic reverse-hand handle are shaped to help distribute load comfortably and support upright posture. Lightweight yet strong, it is designed to help you stay active and independent. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.

  • Four-point tetrapod base with a flexible neck, designed to support balance and a natural walking gait
  • High-strength anodised aluminium alloy tubing — light but strong
  • Double-moulded, ergonomic reverse-hand handgrip in latex-free, non-allergenic, odourless material
  • Quick height adjustment in set increments with a locking lever for user comfort and upright posture
  • Anti-slip, footwear-grade tips designed for reliable traction
  • Ambidextrous design for use in either hand

May assist in managing discomfort associated with the following conditions:

  • Reduced balance or general walking difficulty
  • Chronic joint stiffness or lower-limb weakness
  • Post-operative rehabilitation and structured recovery
  • Everyday mobility support for elderly or minimally injured users
  • Stand straight with shoulders relaxed and arms hanging loosely at your sides; the handgrip should sit at the wrist crease.
  • To adjust height, unlock the locking lever, press the spring button, then lengthen or shorten the telescopic tube to the correct height.
  • Ensure the spring button is fully engaged in the adjustment hole, then firmly lock the lever back in position before use.
  • Your elbow should be slightly bent while holding the stick by its handgrip.
  • Follow the specific weight-bearing and gait instructions provided by your doctor or physiotherapist.
  • 1 x Tynor Tetra Walking Stick (L 45), Universal size
  • Wipe with a clean, damp, lint-free cloth using a mild detergent.
  • Do not use solvents such as acetone, thinner, turpentine or petroleum products.
  • Replace the tips when the tread pattern wears down and the tip face becomes flat.
  • Correct handgrip height is important for safe, comfortable use.
  • Watch for hazards such as cords, wet or oily floors, loose rugs and obstacles.
  • Misuse or improper use of the device can reduce the support it provides.
  • Please check with your doctor, physiotherapist, or healthcare professional to confirm this product is suitable for your condition and correct sizing.

Is the height adjustable? Yes — the telescopic tube adjusts in set increments and locks with a lever for a secure fit.

Which hand should I hold it in? The design is ambidextrous; your therapist can advise the correct side for your needs, typically opposite the affected leg.

Is it self-standing? Yes — the four-point tetrapod base is designed to let the cane stand on its own on level surfaces.

Can the tips be replaced? Yes — replacement anti-slip tips are available when the originals wear down.
