The Tynor Abdominal Support Belt (A 01) is a 9"/23cm wide compression belt designed to help support the abdominal muscles during recovery from abdominal surgery, caesarean section, post-delivery, and for the management of umbilical and ventral hernia. Made from an extra-strong, highly porous elastic panel with heat-resistant rubber, flexi nylon splints, and a broad hook-and-loop closure, it is designed to provide firm, consistent compression while remaining lightweight, breathable, and discreet under everyday clothing. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.

- Wrap the belt around your waist upright — follow the "up inside" label for correct orientation.
- Position the lower edge at the base of the abdomen, ensuring full abdominal coverage.
- Fasten the hook-and-loop closure to a firm, comfortable compression — snug but not restrictive.
- Smooth flat to remove wrinkles. Nylon splints will hold the belt in position.
- Adjust compression throughout the day as needed.

Can this belt be worn after a C-section?

Is this the same as an abdominal binder?
Yes — the A01 functions as an abdominal binder. The 9"/23cm width provides broad abdominal coverage suitable for most post-operative and post-delivery binding needs.
Can it be used for hernia support?
It may assist external compression for umbilical and ventral hernia as directed by a doctor. Do not use for hernia without medical assessment — confirm with your GP or surgeon first. Not indicated for inguinal hernia.
