Great News! Now Tynor Australia is a NDIS Registered Provider
Code: D 43
Sizes Available: CH, S, M, L, XL
Foot Drop Splint With Liner (AFO) is designed with a dorsal shell made of polypropylene with a leaf spring action to arrest the plantar flexion movement and lift the foot.
The anatomical inlay of Ankle-Foot Orthosis can be easily trimmed with scissors and/or molded with a heat gun for a customized fit when necessary to easily accommodate most types of shoes.
The wall thickness of the foot drop splint has been reduced to a minimum in order to maintain discretion during use. When walking, the splint shows springy properties which support the gait.
Three circumferential straps of the foot drop splint provide some stabilization and are fastened with Velcro, making it possible to efficiently adjust the tension. The foot drop splint has an additional liner that improves the comfort of use.

Actually didn't like it. Sorry. Left it in the box.
Brilliant! Excellent quality for price. I have used it over and over in many types of water even salt. I make sure i thoroughly rinse it and air dry it on small air dryer out of direct sun. I mainly us mine so I can participate in wet activities safer as i am getting Cbrace for most of my walking, amd sometimes use manual and electric chair but its agreat addtition to my AT and helps me excercies at home. It has made me safer in water where there is a gentle current. Helps keep the foot more stable (I have left foot drop form t10-t12 incomplete paraplegia) and helps control spasm in the foot as well Very impressed. Makes me feel safer in the shower too. If you have a wide calf like me though you may need to disuss adding a longer velcro strap with your own allied health team.It is very long and may need trimming by your allied health and heat treating for custom fit. It fits my revere Mary Janes no problems at all. I find it easiet to put it on and then use a long handled shoe horn.
This is not the best product for people with a wide foot, the actual heal foot area, is quite thin and I can’t fit my foot in properly which makes it very uncomfortable.
I recently purchased the Tynor Foot Drop Splint and have been extremely impressed with its performance. The splint is easy to put on and provides excellent support for my foot drop. It is comfortable to wear and has helped me to walk more normally.
Being an aged pensioner with a limited budget. The Tynor splint not only does a good job it also represents a real value for money product in comparison to similar products on the market.
