Functional Knee Support offers the advantage of firm compression around the knee and rigid lateral stabilisation. It allows normal flexion and free movement of the knee joint. Because of the front opening, hinged knee support is convenient to apply and remove.
The hinged knee brace can be used to support weak knees. It can also support the stability of the knee during daily functioning.

- Hinged Functional Knee Support is made out of strong elasticised fabric. It is shaped anatomically to provide uniform compression around the knee without bunching during knee bending.
- Strong hinged splints provide lateral stability and support but allow normal knee joint flexion. The anterior opening design of the hinged knee brace allows easy application, particularly in geriatric patients or in cases where the application of a standard sleeve-type support is difficult.
- Hook-and-loop closures provide controlled compression and close contoured fitting, apart from easy application and removal.
