The Tynor Taylor Brace Urbane A34 is a lightweight dorso-lumbar spinal brace designed to provide structured support and coverage across the mid and lower back. Built around a malleable aluminium frame with two rigid, pre-contoured paraspinal bars, it is designed to help hold the spine in a neutral position and immobilise the dorso-lumbar region. A removable thoracic splint helps limit rotation of the upper torso, while cushioned shoulder pads and a hook-and-loop front panel allow the brace to be adjusted to the wearer. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.

- Loosen the front panel and shoulder straps, then position the brace against the back with the paraspinal bars centred over the spine.
- Bring the front panel around the abdomen and fasten the hook-and-loop closure to a comfortable, firm fit.
- Adjust the shoulder straps for correct posture without pressure on the underarms.
- The vertical and horizontal splints can be removed, shaped and reinserted by a professional using the anatomical shape of the body.

- Hand wash the fabric with mild detergent and water below 30°C without wringing.

What is the difference between Short and Long types?
The Short type suits users approximately 140 to 171 cm in height and the Long type suits users approximately 171 to 201 cm. Measure height and check the size guide before ordering.
How do I choose between UNI and SPL sizes?
Measure the circumference around the navel. UNI covers roughly 71 to 112 cm and SPL covers roughly 112 to 132 cm.
Can the splints be adjusted?
Yes. Both the vertical paraspinal bars and the horizontal thoracic splint can be removed, shaped and reinserted by a healthcare professional.
Is it discreet under clothing?
The brace uses a lightweight aluminium frame and 3D fabric designed to be worn comfortably during recovery and rehabilitation.
