The Tynor Traction Rope is a 1.5 metre braided replacement cord designed for use with Tynor cervical traction kits. It is sold as a standalone spare part so you can replace a worn, frayed or missing rope without purchasing a complete kit. The smooth braided construction is designed to run freely through the traction pulley and hold its length in use. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.

This rope is an accessory and replacement part for Tynor cervical traction kits. It is intended to replace the original rope supplied with the kit and is not designed for any other purpose. Traction should only be carried out as advised by your doctor or physiotherapist, using the kit's own instructions.
- Remove the old rope from the pulley, head halter and weight bag.
- Thread the new rope through the pulley in the same path as the original.
- Attach one end to the head halter spreader bar and the other to the weight bag, following the traction kit manual.
- Check that all knots are secure and the rope moves freely before use.
- Adjust the length so the weight bag hangs clear of the floor and furniture.

- Wipe clean with a damp cloth and allow to air dry.
- Do not bleach or tumble dry.
- Keep away from sharp edges and heat sources.
- Inspect the rope before each use and replace if frayed, knotted or worn.
- Only use with a Tynor traction kit and follow the kit's instruction manual.
- Do not exceed the traction weight recommended by your healthcare professional.
- Stop use and seek advice if you experience any discomfort, dizziness or increased symptoms during traction.
- Keep out of reach of children.

Yes, the rope can be trimmed to suit your set-up. Seal or knot the cut end to prevent fraying.
