These terms apply to all equipment hired from Tynor Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 39 632 237 346), trading as Australian Healthcare Supplies ("we", "us"). By placing a hire order you ("the hirer") agree to these terms.
1. Hire Period
- The minimum hire period is 2 weeks. Hire fees for the minimum period are non-refundable.
- The hire period starts on the day the equipment is delivered or collected and ends on the day it is collected by us or returned to our Forrestdale warehouse.
- To extend your hire, contact us before the hire period ends. Extensions are charged at $110 per week, subject to availability.
- Equipment kept past the end of the hire period without an agreed extension will be charged at the weekly rate for each week or part week.
2. Bond
- A refundable bond of $300 is included in the hire price.
- The bond is refunded to the original payment method within 5 business days after the equipment is returned clean, complete (including charger and accessories) and in the same condition as supplied, allowing for fair wear and tear.
- We may deduct from the bond the reasonable cost of cleaning, repair, replacement of missing items, or unpaid hire fees.
3. Delivery, Setup and Collection
- Delivery, setup and collection is available within the Perth metropolitan area only.
- We will contact you to arrange delivery and collection times. Someone must be present at delivery to receive a hand-over demonstration.
- Pick-up and return is available at 3/7 Weedon Road, Forrestdale WA 6112 by appointment.
4. Use of the Equipment
- The equipment must only be used by the person it was hired for, in line with the hand-over demonstration and the manufacturer's instructions.
- Do not exceed the maximum user weight of the supplied model.
- Please check with your doctor, physiotherapist or occupational therapist that the equipment is suitable for you before use.
- Charge batteries only with the supplied charger. Do not attempt repairs or modifications.
- Lithium batteries are subject to airline rules. Contact your airline before taking the equipment on a flight.
5. Loss, Damage and Faults
- The hirer is responsible for the equipment while it is in their care, including loss, theft and damage beyond fair wear and tear.
- If the equipment is lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, the hirer will be charged up to the current retail price of the equipment, less the bond held.
- If the equipment develops a fault, stop using it and contact us. We will repair or replace it as soon as practicable at no cost where the fault is not caused by misuse.
6. Cancellations
- Orders cancelled before delivery or collection will be refunded in full.
7. Hire-to-Buy
- If you decide to purchase a new chair from us during or at the end of your hire, contact us about crediting hire fees paid toward the purchase.
8. Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
