Australian Healthcare Supplies is proud to supply EASWE electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters to customers across Australia. All EASWE products purchased from tynor.com.au are covered by the manufacturer's warranty set out below, honoured and administered locally by Australian Healthcare Supplies. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.
Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits provided by this warranty are in addition to your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable laws. Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies those rights.
Warranty Periods
All EASWE electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies include:
- Frame — 5 years against manufacturing defects, including natural deformation, weld failure (open welding, desoldering), and fracture caused by poor manufacturing.
- Motor — 1 year covering coil phase loss, burnout, demagnetisation, detachment, and wheel axle deformation caused by manufacturing defects.
- Controller & joystick — 1 year covering short circuit, burnout, and performance failures caused by poor manufacturing.
- Lithium battery — 1 year covering poor contact, power loss, failure to hold charge, or capacity falling below 60% of rated capacity. A replacement battery is covered for the remaining duration of the original warranty period (the warranty period does not restart).
- Charger — 1 year covering short circuit, burnout, and performance failures caused by poor manufacturing.
- Front light — 1 year covering short circuit, burnout, and manufacturing-related failures.
- Seat, backrest, headrest, armrests, footrest, brakes, shock absorption, tyres, and fenders — 1 year against manufacturing defects.
Warranty periods run from the date of original purchase. The warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase (your Australian Healthcare Supplies order number or invoice) is required for all claims.
What Is Covered
- Components confirmed to be defective due to materials or workmanship within the applicable warranty period.
- Damage identified on delivery (transit damage) — see "Transit Damage" below.
- Free replacement parts for verified warranty faults, together with step-by-step fitting videos and remote technical guidance. Where a part is not reasonably suitable for customer fitting, we will arrange an alternative solution.
What Is Not Covered
- Faults caused by failure to follow the User Manual, unboxing instructions, or recommended maintenance and adjustments.
- Damage from accidents, collisions, impacts, drops, or improper use or storage.
- Disassembly, repairs, or modifications carried out by the user or an unauthorised repairer.
- Repair costs incurred at third-party repairers without our prior written consent.
- Water ingress, use of a non-approved charger, power surges, or cut cables.
- Normal wear and tear, including paint scratches, upholstery wear, tyre wear, and brake wear.
- Minor cosmetic marks on packaging or accessories arising from transport that do not affect use.
- Second-hand or modified products, and products without proof of purchase.
These exclusions apply to this voluntary warranty only and do not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Take clear photos or a short video showing the issue.
- Email sales@tynor.com.au with a brief description of the problem, your order number, and the photos or video. You can also call us on 08 6186 0001 (Mon–Fri, AWST).
- Our team will diagnose the issue. Many issues can be resolved quickly with settings guidance or a simple adjustment.
- If the fault cannot be diagnosed immediately, we will send you a short troubleshooting guide and may ask for an additional photo or video of the test result.
- Once the fault is verified, we will send the appropriate replacement part at no charge, together with an instructional fitting video and phone or email support during fitting.
Please contact us before returning any product. Products returned without prior written approval cannot be processed.
Return Freight
- Verified warranty faults: Australian Healthcare Supplies covers the cost of shipping replacement parts to you. If a full unit needs to be returned to us for assessment or replacement due to a verified manufacturing fault or a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, Australian Healthcare Supplies bears the reasonable return freight cost and will arrange or reimburse the collection.
- Change of mind or no fault found: where a product is returned for change of mind (subject to our returns policy) or is assessed and found to have no fault, return freight is at the customer's cost.
Transit Damage
Please inspect the outer packaging on delivery. If the carton is severely damaged, you may refuse the delivery. If you discover transport damage after opening, contact us with photos or video within 5 days of receiving your order so we can lodge a carrier claim and resolve it promptly.
After the Warranty Period
Spare parts remain available for purchase after the warranty period ends, with parts and shipping at the customer's cost. As suppliers and components are updated over time, replacement parts may differ slightly in appearance or labelling; this does not affect normal use.
Extended Cover — Easwe Care+
Easwe Care+ adds a further year of cover to the standard warranty above. Frame cover extends from 5 years to 6 years, and motor, battery, and controller cover extends from 1 year to 2 years. Cover runs from the original wheelchair purchase date, and Care+ customers receive priority assistance from our support team during the extended period.
Care+ must be purchased at the same time as the wheelchair or mobility scooter — it cannot be added after the order has been placed. The exclusions listed above apply equally to the extended period.
