Funding Pathways

Find the pathway that applies to you.

National

NDIS

We are a registered NDIS provider (Provider No. 4050074185) and can supply products to self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants, subject to your plan and approval.

Self-managed Order directly through our website and use the tax invoice to claim, or use the order form if you would like a quote first.
Plan-managed Enter your plan manager's business name and invoice email in the order form and we will invoice them directly.
NDIA-managed Use the order form and include the participant's date of birth and plan dates so we can confirm what is required for supply.

Funding is subject to your NDIS plan and approval. We are not able to confirm whether an item will be funded under your plan.

Aged Care

Support at Home

The Support at Home program replaced the Home Care Packages Program on 1 November 2025. If you were receiving a Home Care Package before that date, your funding transferred across automatically.

Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) scheme

Equipment is funded through the AT-HM scheme, which sits separately from your quarterly services budget and covers items such as:

  • Mobility equipment — walking sticks, walking frames, wheelchairs
  • Bathing and toileting supports — shower chairs, commodes, non-slip mats
  • Transfer aids and daily living equipment

We supply these products to Support at Home participants, aged care providers, and the occupational therapists and physiotherapists who prescribe them. Higher-risk items generally require assessment or prescription by an allied health professional. Eligibility and funding tiers are determined through a My Aged Care assessment.

Participants, family members and care partners can all use the order form. The quote and tax invoice are sent to your aged care provider.

Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)

We also supply equipment to CHSP providers and their clients. Contact us for trade pricing and account setup.

National

Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)

We can supply products to DVA entitled persons. Supply is subject to DVA eligibility, assessment and prescription by an approved health professional, and approval under the relevant DVA program.

Entitlement and approval are determined by DVA, not by Tynor Australia. Please speak with your GP, occupational therapist or physiotherapist about what you may be entitled to and how to arrange a prescription.

State & Territory

State and Territory Equipment Schemes

Each state and territory runs its own subsidised equipment program for people with long-term disability or who are frail aged. Applications are made by a registered prescriber, usually an occupational therapist or physiotherapist, and approval and any subsidy amount are determined by the scheme.

  • NSW — EnableNSW
  • VIC — State-wide Equipment Program (SWEP)
  • QLD — Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS)
  • ACT — ACT Equipment Scheme (ACTES)
  • TAS — Community Equipment Scheme (CES)
  • NT — Disability Equipment Program (DEP)
  • SA and WA — state-funded equipment programs administered through the relevant health department

If your prescriber has approval or a purchase order in place, send it to us with the product details and we will quote and supply. Please note these schemes are subsidy-based and may not cover the full cost of an item.

Claims

Insurance and Compensation Schemes

We supply equipment approved under workers' compensation, motor vehicle injury and lifetime care schemes, including WorkCover and CTP insurer claims.

Send us your claim number, approval or purchase order together with the product details and we will invoice the insurer directly where accepted.

Rebates

Private Health Insurance

Some health funds offer a rebate on prescribed orthopaedic supports and mobility aids under extras cover. We provide itemised tax invoices suitable for claiming.

Please check with your fund before purchasing, as rebates vary by policy.
