The Tynor Adjustable R.O.M Knee Brace is a hinged knee brace designed to assist controlled rehabilitation of the knee joint by regulating the range of flexion and extension through a precise steel pin mechanism. Bilateral polycentric gear-type aluminium hinges allow staged adjustments from full immobilisation through to a defined range of motion — supporting progressive rehabilitation while designed to help maintain joint stability throughout. The two-piece wrap-around design with perforated neoprene and a patellar relief opening is designed for comfortable extended wear and suitable for both left and right knees. The Tynor Adjustable R.O.M Knee Brace may assist in managing and supporting recovery associated with the following conditions and procedures:

- Set the desired range of motion on both hinges using the steel pin mechanism before applying the brace — ensure both sides are set to the same angles.
- Position the brace on the knee ensuring both hinges align with the centre axis of the knee joint — the hinge centre should coincide with the natural pivot point of the knee.
- Wrap the upper and lower sections around the thigh and calf, passing the straps through the buckle slots on each hinge.
- Fasten the hook-and-loop straps firmly — the brace should feel secure without causing numbness or restricting circulation.
- Check that knee flexion and extension are moving within the set range — adjust the pin settings if required, as directed by your clinician.
- Adjust the range of motion incrementally over time only as directed by your physiotherapist or treating clinician.

What is the difference between the D58 and the D10/D48 ROM Knee Brace?
The D58 uses a steel pin mechanism with bilateral polycentric gear-type aluminium hinges and a two-piece wrap-around design with perforated neoprene. The D10 and D48 use a dial-type adjustment mechanism. The D58 is the current adjustable ROM model in the Tynor Cure range. Confirm the recommended product code with your clinician before ordering.
Can it be used on both left and right knees?
Yes — the Tynor D58 is designed as a universal brace suitable for both the left and right knee. Ensure the hinge centres align correctly with the knee axis on whichever leg it is applied to.
