The Easwe Securing Strap is a purpose-designed accessory designed to help hold your Easwe electric wheelchair or mobility scooter securely in place during transport and storage. Whether loading your wheelchair into a car boot, securing it in a van, or storing it at home, the securing strap is designed to reduce unwanted movement and shifting — protecting the wheelchair and giving you greater confidence during transit. Compatible with all Easwe electric wheelchair and mobility scooter models. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.
- Designed for Wheelchair Transport & Storage Security — the strap is designed to secure your Easwe wheelchair or scooter in position during vehicle transport or home storage, reducing the risk of movement, tipping, or impact damage in transit.
- Compatible with All Easwe Models — designed to work with the full Easwe electric wheelchair range (A10, B10, B20, C10, C20, D10, E10, F10, G10, L10, S10) and Easwe mobility scooters (M10, M20). Confirm specific compatibility with your model before purchase if unsure.
- Durable Construction — designed to withstand the demands of regular use during vehicle transport and daily storage. Confirm exact material and construction with supplier before publishing.
- Easy to Use — designed for quick attachment and release, making it practical to use every time you load and unload your wheelchair.
- Official Easwe Accessory — designed and supplied by Easwe specifically for use with their wheelchair and scooter range, ensuring compatibility and fit.
The Easwe Securing Strap is designed to assist in the following situations:
- Securing an Easwe electric wheelchair in a car boot, van, or vehicle during transport
- Preventing a folded wheelchair from unfolding or shifting during storage at home
- Additional security during travel when the wheelchair is checked as mobility equipment
- Reducing movement of the wheelchair on ramps, lifts, or other transport platforms
For vehicle transport of occupied wheelchairs, a certified wheelchair tie-down and occupant restraint system (WTORS) compliant with Australian Standard AS/NZS 3856 is required. This securing strap is designed for unoccupied wheelchair and scooter transport and storage only — it is not a substitute for a certified WTORS system. Contact us if you need guidance on appropriate restraint solutions for occupied transport.
- Fold your Easwe wheelchair or position your scooter in the transport or storage location.
- Loop or attach the securing strap around the wheelchair frame at the designated attachment points — refer to the product manual for recommended attachment positions for your specific model.
- Tighten the strap to a secure, snug tension — firm enough to prevent movement without applying excessive force to the frame.
- Check the strap is secure before beginning transport or leaving the wheelchair in storage.
- To release: loosen and remove the strap from the attachment points.

- Wipe the strap with a damp cloth after use — avoid prolonged soaking in water.
- Inspect the strap, buckle, and attachment hardware regularly for signs of wear, fraying, or damage — replace if any deterioration is found before continued use.
- Store in a dry location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- This strap is designed for securing unoccupied wheelchairs and scooters during transport and storage only — it is not approved for use as an occupant restraint system.
- Do not use as a substitute for a certified wheelchair tie-down and occupant restraint system (WTORS) when transporting an occupied wheelchair in a vehicle.
- Do not overtighten — excessive force may damage the wheelchair frame or components.
- Inspect the strap before each use — do not use a strap that shows signs of fraying, cuts, or buckle damage.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Is this strap compatible with all Easwe wheelchairs and scooters?
The Easwe Securing Strap is designed as an official accessory for use with the full Easwe electric wheelchair and mobility scooter range. If you are unsure whether it is compatible with your specific model, contact us before purchasing and we can confirm compatibility.
Can I use this strap to secure my wheelchair in a vehicle while I am seated in it?
No — this strap is designed for securing an unoccupied, folded wheelchair or scooter during transport and storage. Transporting an occupied wheelchair in a vehicle requires a certified wheelchair tie-down and occupant restraint system (WTORS) that meets Australian Standard AS/NZS 3856. Contact us if you need guidance on appropriate solutions for occupied transport.
Can I use this strap with other wheelchair brands?
The strap is designed specifically for Easwe models. While it may fit other folding electric wheelchairs of similar frame dimensions, compatibility with non-Easwe products is not guaranteed. We recommend confirming suitability with us before use on other brands.
Does this accessory qualify for NDIS funding?
Accessories for approved NDIS Assistive Technology items may be eligible for funding under the same AT registration group as the primary device. Eligibility depends on your plan and how the primary wheelchair was funded. Australian Healthcare Supplies is a registered NDIS provider. Contact us for guidance.
