Easwe C10 Carbon Fibre Electric Wheelchair | NDIS | Australia

The Easwe C10 Carbon Fibre Foldable Electric Wheelchair is a lightweight, airline-approved powered mobility aid designed to help users move independently across indoor and outdoor environments. Built on a carbon fibre and aluminium alloy hybrid frame, the C10 weighs approximately 15.8kg while supporting up to 113kg. Powered by dual 200W brushless motors and fitted with an IP66-rated controller and airline-approved 12AH lithium battery, the C10 is designed for users who want a lighter carbon fibre frame without the bulk of heavier mobility devices. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.
Same wheelchair, either way. Both options are the identical Easwe C10. The 2-battery option simply adds a second 12Ah lithium battery. The C10 runs on one battery at a time — the second is carried as a spare and swapped in when the first runs low, extending total range from approximately 24km to 48km.

- Carbon Fibre & Aluminium Alloy Hybrid Frame — the C10 uses a carbon fibre and aluminium alloy frame designed to deliver strength at a lighter weight compared to standard aluminium-only frames. Carbon fibre is naturally resistant to rust and corrosion, supporting long-term durability in everyday and outdoor use.
- Lightweight at 15.8kg — approximately 15.8kg (35lb) without battery, making it easier to lift into a car boot, transport in standard vehicles, and manage during travel.
- Dual 200W Brushless Motors (400W Total) — designed to assist smooth, quiet navigation on footpaths, light gravel, and gentle inclines up to 12°, with an IPX5 rating for added protection against rain and splashes.
- Up to 48km Range with Spare Battery — supplied with one 12AH airline-approved lithium battery (up to approximately 24km). The 2-battery option adds a second identical battery, taking total range to approximately 48km. Only one battery is fitted at a time — the second is a spare you swap in when needed. Please note the second battery ships as a separate parcel due to lithium battery freight regulations.
- Airline-Approved Battery — the detachable lithium battery meets international airline carry-on requirements (UN38.3 certified), designed for hassle-free air travel.
- IP66 Controller — the smart joystick controller carries an IP66 rating for protection against rain and splashes. Features 360° directional control, clear display, safety horn, and left/right switchable operation.
- 17.25" Seat Width — the C10's 44cm (17.25") seat width is designed to accommodate a comfortable seated position for the recommended user range.
- Comfort Suspension System — shock-absorbing suspension in both the front wheels and seat is designed to reduce impact on uneven surfaces, supporting comfort during extended use.
- Comprehensive Safety System — intelligent electromagnetic brake system, anti-tip rear wheels, and a seat belt are designed to assist user stability and safety during everyday movement.
- Honeycomb Puncture-Proof Tyres — 6" front and 8" rear honeycomb tyres are designed to handle indoor and outdoor surfaces without the risk of puncture.
The Easwe C10 may assist individuals seeking powered mobility support in the following situations:
- Limited lower-body mobility or inability to self-propel a manual wheelchair
- Reduced walking endurance due to age, illness, or physical condition
- Post-surgical or rehabilitation periods where walking is restricted
- Progressive conditions affecting mobility (e.g. MS, Parkinson's, arthritis, stroke recovery)
- Frequent travellers requiring a lightweight, airline-compliant powered mobility device
- Users who prioritise a carbon fibre frame and corrosion resistance for long-term use
- Day-to-day independence at home, in the community, or while travelling
Recommended for users between 150–190cm in height and up to 113kg in weight. We recommend consulting a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or GP to confirm this model is suitable for your individual needs. NDIS participants should contact us to confirm funding eligibility before purchasing.
- The C10 arrives 95% pre-assembled — remove from packaging and unfold the frame by pressing the side release buttons and pulling upward on the seat until the cushion snaps firmly into place.
- Attach the battery pack to the rear of the wheelchair and secure the locking mechanism until it clicks.
- Connect the joystick controller to the armrest port and ensure it is firmly seated.
- Power on using the joystick controller and verify the battery level indicator and display are functioning correctly.
- Adjust the footrests and armrests to suit the user's height and comfort before first use.

- Wipe the frame, seat, and footrests with a damp cloth — do not submerge in water or use high-pressure cleaning.
- Store in a dry location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Charge the battery after each use and avoid allowing it to fully deplete before recharging.
- Inspect tyres, brakes, and joystick connection regularly — a comprehensive safety check is recommended every six months. Contact us if any component requires attention.
- Consult a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or GP before use to confirm this wheelchair is appropriate for your condition and individual needs.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 113kg.
- Not designed for slopes steeper than 12°, stairs, escalators, sand, or rough off-road terrain.
- Reduce speed when navigating inclines, ramps, or uneven surfaces — exercise caution at all times.
- Do not submerge in water despite the IP66 controller and IPX5 motor ratings — avoid deep puddles and flooded areas.
- Only one battery operates at a time — do not attempt to connect both batteries simultaneously.
- The seatback angle on the C10 is fixed and cannot be adjusted — if seatback recline is required, consider the Easwe B10 model.
- Always engage the electromagnetic brake when stationary on a slope or incline.
- Do not modify the wheelchair or its components — modifications void the warranty and may affect safety.

What makes the C10 different from the D10 and E10?
The C10 uses a carbon fibre and aluminium alloy hybrid frame, while the D10 and E10 use aluminium alloy frames (the E10 has a carbon-style surface finish, not carbon fibre). The C10 and D10 are the same weight at approximately 15.8kg and both use dual 200W brushless motors; the D10 adds LED safety lights and a side-to-side fold. The C10 has an IP66-rated controller. The E10 is heavier at approximately 19kg and uses dual 250W motors. All three have a fixed seatback — users who need seatback recline should consider the B10.
Is the C10 suitable for outdoor use?
Yes — the C10 features honeycomb puncture-proof tyres, dual 200W brushless motors designed to assist navigation on footpaths, light gravel, and gentle inclines up to 12°, and an IP66-rated controller for protection against rain and splashes. It is not designed for steep off-road terrain or soft ground such as deep sand or mud.
Can I take the C10 on a plane?
The C10's lithium battery is UN38.3 certified and designed to meet international airline carry-on requirements. We recommend contacting your airline in advance to confirm their specific wheelchair and battery policies, as requirements can vary by carrier and destination.
Can I use NDIS funding to purchase the C10?
The Easwe C10 may be eligible for NDIS funding under Assistive Technology — Mid Cost or Higher Cost, depending on your plan and support needs. An assessment from an occupational therapist is typically required for powered mobility devices. Australian Healthcare Supplies is a registered NDIS provider. Contact us for assistance with your NDIS order.
I ordered the 2-battery option but only one battery arrived with the wheelchair — is something missing?
No — this is normal. Lithium battery freight rules mean we cannot ship two batteries with the wheelchair in one consignment, so your second battery is sent separately and may arrive a day or two apart. If it has not arrived within a week of the wheelchair, please contact us and we will chase the tracking for you.
