The Tynor Wrist Splint Ambidextrous (E-43) is a rigid wrist splint designed to firmly immobilise and support the hand and wrist in a comfortable, functional position while leaving the fingers and thumb free to move. Anatomically contoured, removable aluminium splints can be shaped to set the degree of support, and hook-and-loop closures make it easy to apply and adjust for customised, controlled compression. Its single ambidextrous design fits both the left and right hand, while the porous, cotton-based elasticised fabric is breathable and retains gentle warmth for comfortable wear. An anatomical thumb opening supports and positions the thumb. Available in sizes S, M, L and XL.

The Tynor Wrist Splint Ambidextrous is designed to provide firm immobilisation and support to the hand and wrist in a functional position, under the direction of a qualified healthcare professional. May assist in managing discomfort associated with the following conditions:

  • Wrist sprains and strains
  • Wrist instability
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome (wrist support)
  • Wrist tendonitis and overuse conditions
  • Mild wrist arthritis and joint stiffness
  • Wrist support during rest, activity and recovery

Use under the strict guidance of a qualified healthcare professional. The splint can be removed for clinical appointments, washing and hygiene.

  1. Shape the removable aluminium splints to the wrist and the degree of support required (as advised by your clinician).
  2. Slide the hand into the splint, positioning the thumb through the thumb opening.
  3. Adjust the splints for a customised fit.
  4. Fasten the hook-and-loop closures to a comfortable, secure compression.
