Product Description

The Tynor Forearm Splint (E-30) is a long, rigid splint that firmly immobilises and supports the wrist and forearm while holding the wrist in a comfortable, functional alignment. Anatomically shaped aluminium dorsal and volar stays sit within a soft, three-layered cushioned fabric and can be customised (shaped) to set the wrist position, while wrist and forearm straps with a reverse-buckle mechanism provide a strong, controlled splinting action. Its ambidextrous, two-part tubular design fits either the left or right arm, and the lightweight, PU-lined construction is comfortable for prolonged wear. Available in two sizes: Regular and Plus.

  • Rigid splint — Anatomically shaped aluminium dorsal and volar stays firmly immobilise the wrist and forearm.
  • Customised compression — Customisable aluminium stays and a reverse-buckle mechanism set the wrist position and degree of support.
  • Wrist and forearm straps — Dual straps deliver a strong, controlled splinting action along the forearm.
  • Ambidextrous design — A two-part, bilaterally symmetrical design fits either the left or right arm.
  • Long length — Extended forearm coverage for added structured support.
  • Lightweight & cushioned — A three-layered fabric with an open-celled foam core and PU-lined finish for comfortable, durable wear.

The Tynor Forearm Splint is intended to immobilise and support the wrist and forearm in a functional position, under the direction of a qualified healthcare professional. May assist in managing discomfort associated with the following conditions:

  • Wrist and forearm sprains and strains
  • Soft-tissue injuries of the wrist and forearm (conservative or post-operative)
  • Post-cast support and management
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome (wrist support)
  • Structured support during rest and recovery

ⓘ Important: The aluminium stays are shaped to set the wrist position. Fitting, shaping and the degree of wrist support should be carried out under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional.

Use under the strict guidance of a qualified healthcare professional. An orthopaedic stockinette can be worn underneath for added comfort.

  1. Shape the aluminium stays to the contours of the wrist and forearm and the degree of support required (as advised by your clinician).
  2. Slide the arm into the tubular splint, positioning the wrist comfortably.
  3. Adjust the stays for a customised fit.
  4. Fasten the wrist and forearm straps using the reverse-buckle mechanism to a comfortable, secure compression.

Helped fix my error

Recently I purchased a forearm splint for my son’s broken arm, to give him more protection at school than the sling the doctor gave us. In my haste to order, I initially ordered for regular delivery. I had intended to pay the extra for express delivery, so I ordered a second splint with express delivery. I emailed the team who cancelled my snail mail order and ensured my refund occurred within the week. All that extra work for the sales team because I didn’t read the order correctly. Thanks for your help, and my son loves the forearm splint and the protection it offers, and how easy it is to put on. Mick

I am 79 years of age and have been playing pickleball for about 2 years. I recently had a fall during a game. My left hand/arm typically reached out to break the fall. This action resulted in a crack to the radius near my wrist. Doctor advised cast or rigid brace for at least six weeks. After reviewing the various options available at chemists and physios, I sought a more rigid brace. A web search led me to Tynor. Discussions with their rep led me to purchase their Wrist/forearm Splint. The light weigh, internal, metal (aluminium?) bars above and below the arm give a solid, secure feel when using the splint. Being easily fitted and removed, and washable made it the ideal brace for me.

Forearm Splint

After some renovation word my wrist and forearm were very sore. After looking at various pharmacies I couldn’t find a effective supportive brace, then I saw the Tynor website.
The product arrived very quickly and was perfect for my wrist and forearm. These splints are hospital grade, built to last and versatile with parts which can come off if required, eg palm pad and support bars. The colour too is pretty funky, not just the skin colour types. I am so happy I came across this company. The website is user friendly with size and specification charts.
I recommend Tynor highly!

Thank you so much for your kind words, Jill. I am glad you are happy with your purchase. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us.
