Product Description

The Tynor Pregnancy Belt is a maternity support belt designed to assist abdominal and lower back support during pregnancy by gently cradling the growing belly bump through an oblique abdominal panel design. The panel is designed to lift and support the abdomen without applying direct pressure to the foetus, while a back pad with semi-rigid splints is designed to assist lumbar support and postural comfort during daily activity. Monofilament porous elastic and a breathable mesh body are designed for all-day comfort as the body changes through pregnancy, with broad hook-and-loop panels allowing the fit to be adjusted as the abdomen grows. Use under the guidance of your obstetrician, midwife, or physiotherapist. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.

  • Oblique abdominal panel — designed to lift without pressure — The angled panel design is designed to gently cradle and lift the belly bump, providing abdominal support while designed to avoid direct pressure on the foetus throughout pregnancy.
  • Anatomical back pad with semi-rigid splints — Designed to assist lower back support and postural comfort during pregnancy, with semi-rigid splints conforming to the lumbar curve to assist with the additional load of the growing abdomen.
  • Monofilament porous elastic body — Highly aerated, lightweight monofilament elastic designed for breathability and all-day skin comfort — important during pregnancy when heat and moisture sensitivity are increased.
  • Adjustable as the body changes — Broad hook-and-loop panels allow the fit to be progressively adjusted throughout pregnancy as the abdomen grows, designed to accommodate changing body shape from the second trimester onward.
  • Lateral closing design for easy independent wear — Side-fastening construction designed to allow straightforward independent application and removal without assistance, including during later pregnancy.
  • Dermophilic, skin-friendly materials — Soft, non-irritating materials designed to minimise rash and skin sensitivity, particularly important for extended daily wear during pregnancy.

The Tynor Pregnancy Belt may assist in managing discomfort associated with the following conditions during pregnancy:

  • Lower back discomfort associated with the additional load of the growing abdomen
  • Pelvic girdle pain and sacroiliac discomfort during pregnancy
  • Abdominal heaviness and discomfort during the second and third trimesters
  • Postural discomfort associated with centre-of-gravity changes during pregnancy
  • General abdominal and lumbar support during daily activity, standing, and walking throughout pregnancy

Use only under the guidance of your obstetrician, midwife, or physiotherapist. Confirm that use of an abdominal support belt is appropriate for your specific pregnancy, gestation, and individual circumstances before wearing. NDIS participants should contact us to confirm funding eligibility.

  1. Wear a comfortable cotton undergarment before applying the belt — do not apply directly to bare skin.
  2. While sitting or standing, wrap the belt around the abdomen and lower back, positioning the abdominal panel beneath and in front of the belly bump.
  3. Fasten the hook-and-loop side panels to a comfortable, supportive fit — the belt should feel gently supportive, not tight or constrictive.
  4. Check that the abdominal panel lifts and supports the belly bump without pressing directly onto the abdomen — adjust position if needed.
  5. Confirm that breathing feels comfortable and unobstructed throughout wear.
  6. Wearing duration as directed by your obstetrician, midwife, or physiotherapist — remove during sleep and rest unless specifically directed otherwise.
  • 1 × Tynor Pregnancy Belt A35 (size as selected)
  • Product instruction insert
  • Close hook-and-loop closures before washing
  • Hand wash only in mild detergent, water below 30°C — do not wring
  • Dry flat in shade on a flat surface
  • Do not dry-clean, iron, or bleach
  • Check the belt for wear regularly — replace if elastic or closures show signs of deterioration
  • Use only under the guidance of your obstetrician, midwife, or physiotherapist — confirm suitability for your individual pregnancy before wearing
  • Do not wear so tightly as to cause any pressure, discomfort, or restriction — the belt should feel gently supportive at all times
  • Discontinue use immediately and contact your healthcare provider if you experience any abdominal discomfort, pressure, restricted breathing, skin irritation, or any change in foetal movement
  • Not recommended for use without prior consultation with your obstetrician or midwife — individual assessment is important given the variety of pregnancy presentations
  • Do not wear during sleep unless specifically directed by your treating clinician
  • Consult your doctor before use if you have any pregnancy complications, including placenta praevia, multiple pregnancy, or any high-risk pregnancy condition
  • Misuse or improper use may reduce effectiveness — follow all instructions in the product box carefully
  • Keep out of reach of children

From which stage of pregnancy can I use this belt?
The Tynor Pregnancy Belt is generally designed for use from the second trimester onward, when the abdomen begins to grow significantly. However, the appropriate timing for any individual pregnancy should always be confirmed with your obstetrician or midwife before you begin wearing it.

How tight should the belt be worn?
The belt should feel gently supportive — never tight or constrictive. You should be able to breathe comfortably, move freely, and feel no pressure on the abdomen at any point. If you feel any tightness or discomfort, loosen the belt immediately and consult your healthcare provider.

Can I wear it all day?
Many women wear a pregnancy support belt during daily activity — standing, walking, and light work — and remove it during rest and sleep. Your obstetrician, midwife, or physiotherapist can advise on the most appropriate wearing schedule for your individual needs and trimester.
