Tynor Medical Compression Stockings Knee High Class 2 I 67 | Graduated Leg Compression

The Tynor Medical Compression Stockings Knee High Class 2 (I 67) are graduated compression stockings designed to apply firm, controlled pressure that is strongest at the ankle and gradually reduces up the leg. Woven on circular looms from nylon and spandex yarn, they form a four-way-stretch, seamless stocking with an anatomical calf shape and a silicone-dotted top band that helps hold the stocking in place. Class 2 provides 23-32 mmHg of compression and may assist people managing tired, aching or swollen legs and a range of venous conditions. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.
- Graduated compression — firmest at the ankle, gradually reducing up the leg.
- Class 2 compression (23-32 mmHg).
- Four-way-stretch, seamless knit woven on circular looms for easy donning and comfort.
- Anatomical calf shape for uniform compression on an uneven limb surface.
- Silicone-dotted top band to help keep the stocking in position without a tight edge.
- Extra-flat seams and soft microfibre yarn for skin-friendly, all-day wear.
- Durable jersey-knit construction with a reinforced heel.
- Latex-free and machine-washable.
May assist in managing discomfort associated with the following conditions:
- Tired, aching or heavy-feeling legs.
- Oedema of the ankle, foot or leg.
- Chronic peripheral venous insufficiency.
- Varicose veins and spider veins (mild varicosities).
- Lymphoedema and phlebitis.
- Lipodermatosclerosis.
- Support during pregnancy and after surgery or injury.
- Put the stockings on first thing in the morning, before getting out of bed, when the legs have the least swelling.
- Slide your hand into the stocking to the heel area, then turn it inside out to the heel.
- Broaden the opening and pull it to the heel, then unfold the stocking from heel to knee so the fabric rolls on fabric, not on bare skin.
- Smooth out any wrinkles from the bottom upward with both hands until the stocking sits evenly.
- Knee-high stockings should sit about two fingers below the bend of the knee.
- If you use lotion, let it dry first; a little baby powder or cornflour may help the stocking slide up.
