Product Description

The Easwe D10 Foldable Electric Wheelchair is an ultra-lightweight, airline-approved powered mobility aid designed to help users move independently across indoor and outdoor environments. Weighing just 15.8kg and built on a high-strength aluminium alloy frame with a unique left-and-right folding design, the D10 is one of the lightest foldable electric wheelchairs in the Easwe range — making it particularly well suited for users who frequently load it into a vehicle, travel by air, or need a carer to assist with lifting. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.

Same wheelchair, either way. Both options are the identical Easwe D10. The 2-battery option simply adds a second 12Ah lithium battery. The D10 runs on one battery at a time — the second is carried as a spare and swapped in when the first runs low, extending total range from approximately 24km to 48km.

  • Ultra-Lightweight at 15.8kg — among the lightest aluminium-frame foldable electric wheelchairs available in Australia, designed to make loading into a car boot, lifting, and transporting as manageable as possible for both users and carers.
  • Unique Left-and-Right Folding Design — unlike standard forward-fold wheelchairs, the D10 folds from side to side for a more compact folded profile, designed to fit more easily into smaller car boots and tight storage spaces.
  • Dual 200W Brushless Motors (400W Total) — designed to assist smooth, quiet navigation over inclines, gravel, and uneven terrain, with IPX5 waterproof rating for added protection against rain and splashes.
  • Up to 48km Range with Spare Battery — supplied with one 12AH airline-approved lithium battery (up to approximately 24km). The 2-battery option adds a second identical battery, taking total range to approximately 48km. Only one battery is fitted at a time — the second is a spare you swap in when needed. Please note the second battery ships as a separate parcel due to lithium battery freight regulations.
  • Airline-Approved Battery — the detachable lithium battery meets international airline carry-on requirements (UN38.3 certified), designed for hassle-free air travel.
  • LED Safety Lights — front-facing LED lights are designed to add visibility in low-light conditions, supporting safer use during evening outings or in dimly lit environments.
  • Smart LCD Joystick Controller — the 360° LCD joystick allows precise speed adjustment, power on/off, and real-time battery monitoring on a clear display. Features a safety horn, left/right switchable operation, and dedicated charging port.
  • Comfort Suspension System — shock-absorbing suspension in both the front wheels and seat is designed to reduce impact on uneven surfaces, supporting comfort during extended use.
  • Comprehensive Safety System — intelligent electromagnetic brake system, anti-tip rear wheels, and a seat belt are designed to assist user stability and safety during everyday movement.
  • Honeycomb Puncture-Proof Tyres — front and rear honeycomb tyres are designed to handle both indoor and outdoor surfaces without the risk of puncture.

The Easwe D10 may assist individuals seeking powered mobility support in the following situations:

  • Limited lower-body mobility or inability to self-propel a manual wheelchair
  • Reduced walking endurance due to age, illness, or physical condition
  • Post-surgical or rehabilitation periods where walking is restricted
  • Progressive conditions affecting mobility (e.g. MS, Parkinson's, arthritis, stroke recovery)
  • Frequent travellers requiring an ultra-lightweight, airline-compliant powered mobility device
  • Users whose carers need to regularly lift or load the wheelchair into a vehicle
  • Evening or low-light outings where LED lighting provides additional visibility

Recommended for users between 150–190cm in height and up to 113kg in weight. We recommend consulting a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or GP to confirm this model is suitable for your individual needs. NDIS participants should contact us to confirm funding eligibility before purchasing.

  1. The D10 arrives 95% pre-assembled — remove from packaging and unfold the frame using the left-and-right fold release mechanism, pressing down on both seat tube pipes until the seat cushion and back cushion snap into place.
  2. Attach the battery pack to the rear of the wheelchair and secure the locking mechanism until it clicks firmly.
  3. Connect the LCD joystick controller to the armrest port and ensure it is firmly seated.
  4. Power on using the joystick controller and verify the battery level, LED lights, and display are functioning correctly.
  5. Adjust the footrests and armrests to suit the user's height and comfort before first use.
  • 1 × Easwe D10 Foldable Electric Wheelchair
  • 1 × 12AH Lithium Battery (airline-approved, UN38.3 certified)
  • 1 × Battery Charger
  • 1 × LCD Joystick Controller
  • 1 × Seat Belt
  • 1 × Product Manual
  • Dual Battery variant includes: 2 × 12AH Lithium Batteries (one charger supplied — charges either battery)
  • Dual Battery variant: the second battery is dispatched separately from the wheelchair and may arrive on a different day.
  • Wipe the frame, seat, and footrests with a damp cloth — do not submerge in water or use high-pressure cleaning.
  • Store in a dry location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Charge the battery after each use and avoid allowing it to fully deplete before recharging.
  • A comprehensive safety inspection is recommended every six months — inspect tyres, brakes, and joystick connection for wear. Contact us if any component requires attention.
  • Consult a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or GP before use to confirm this wheelchair is appropriate for your condition and individual needs.
  • Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 113kg.
  • Reduce speed when navigating inclines, ramps, or uneven surfaces — exercise caution at all times.
  • Do not submerge in water or use in heavy rain despite the IPX5 motor rating — avoid deep puddles and flooded areas.
  • Only one battery operates at a time — do not attempt to connect both batteries simultaneously.
  • The seatback angle on the D10 is fixed and cannot be adjusted — if seatback recline is required, consider the Easwe B10 model.
  • Do not place fingers into the backrest folding mechanism when folding or unfolding — pinching risk.
  • Always engage the electromagnetic brake when stationary on a slope or incline.
  • Do not modify the wheelchair or its components — modifications void the warranty and may affect safety.
  • Keep children away from the joystick and controls when the wheelchair is powered on.

What makes the D10 different from the A10 and B20?
The D10's defining advantages are its lighter weight (15.8kg vs 18kg for the A10 and B20) and its unique left-and-right folding design, which creates a more compact folded profile suited to smaller car boots and tight storage. The D10 uses dual 200W motors (400W total) compared to the A10 and B20's dual 250W (500W total) — for most everyday use on standard terrain, this difference is minimal, but users managing steeper inclines regularly may prefer the higher-powered models. All three models have a fixed seatback — if seatback recline is important, the B10 is the right choice.

Is the D10 suitable for outdoor use?
Yes — the D10 features honeycomb puncture-proof tyres and dual 200W brushless motors designed to assist navigation on gravel paths, gentle slopes, footpaths, and standard outdoor surfaces. The LED safety lights also make it suitable for early morning or evening outings. It is not designed for steep off-road terrain or soft ground such as deep sand or mud.

Can I take the D10 on a plane?
The D10's lithium battery is UN38.3 certified and designed to meet international airline carry-on requirements. We recommend contacting your airline in advance to confirm their specific wheelchair and battery policies, as requirements can vary by carrier and destination.

Can I use NDIS funding to purchase the D10?
The Easwe D10 may be eligible for NDIS funding under Assistive Technology — Mid Cost or Higher Cost, depending on your plan and support needs. An assessment from an occupational therapist is typically required for powered mobility devices. Australian Healthcare Supplies is a registered NDIS provider. Contact us for assistance with your NDIS order.

Is the 2-battery D10 a different wheelchair?
No. Both options are the same Easwe D10. The 2-battery option includes a second 12Ah battery so you always have a charged spare on hand. The chair uses one battery at a time — you swap to the second when the first runs low, extending total range from approximately 24km to 48km.

I ordered the 2-battery option but only one battery arrived with the wheelchair — is something missing?
No — this is normal. Lithium battery freight rules mean we cannot ship two batteries with the wheelchair in one consignment, so your second battery is sent separately and may arrive a day or two apart. If it has not arrived within a week of the wheelchair, please contact us and we will chase the tracking for you.

Range figures obtained with a 75kg user on flat terrain at 33°C. Actual range may vary based on user weight, terrain, temperature, speed, and battery condition.
