Clavicle Brace With Fastening Tape (Posture Corrector)
Is impossible to take off by yourself as the Velcro straps are so short. Given that I am wearing it due to shoulder problems I simply cannot reach up behind my back to undo the straps. To get out on I have to do up the straps and then fight to get it down my arms (which are straight up in the air) and over my head to get it in place. This is doable but getting it off isn’t. This limits when I can wear it as I have to have someone help me undo the straps. If the Velcro was longer and finished at the front it would solve this problem. Having said all that, it really has helped with my shoulder injury. It’s uncomfortable but worth it.
Bought for my son. Good support for broken collarbone.

Unfortunately this brace didn't fit my daughter. But service was great, Sam at tynor was very helpful.
Hello Liz,

functionally the clavicle brace has been effective in reducing the prominence of my mid third fracture, which at the time of writing, hasn't healed yet as it has only been four and a half weeks since the incident.. The orthopaedic specialist prescribed a conservative approach... no surgery. A minor complaint is that one of the metal loops sewn into the base of the back piece is not even, and due to this, the webbing slides to the bottom of the loop and gathers. The registrar of orthopaedics did not recommend the brace, suggesting that I should just stick with the sling. I did some research and I couldn't find any conclusive studies that said the brace was preferable, however, the support just made logical sense to me. Personal experience now, suggests that the brace is definitely working as I believed it would. It's not super comfortable and is almost impossible to remove by yourself without a friend, which is inconvenient at times. Overall I am happy with the brace but a little more care should be taken to the geometry of the fabric loops that hold the metal loops to avoid the webbing from slipping.
