How To Use
-
- Ensure that both the hinges are upright as per the arrow mark and the bending is in line with knee bending.
- Affix the two hinges on the two sides of the knee joint so that the centre of the MPFGD coincides with the axis of the knee.

- The angle of the knee or motion adjustment
- First set the Flexion angle
- Pull the knob lightly, rotate and release at the desired angle marked on the graduated disc.
- Bend the knee and ensure the desired flexion angle of the knee is attained.
- Then set the extension angle.
- Pull the knob on the extension side lightly, rotate and release at the desired angle marked on the graduated disc.
- Repeat the above process for the other hinge.
- Movement and Immobilisations:
- When immobilization at a particular angle required
- Move both, flexion and extension knobs to the same desired angle on the graduated disc
- When flexion movement is required between any two angles
