  • ROM hinges of the knee brace contain “Multi-Point Fixation Graduated Disc” (MPFGD) in the center connected to lightweight and rigid bars on both sides.

  • The MPFGD can be adjusted to any angle of flexion or hyperextension to ensure fixation of the knee joint at any angle or a controlled motion between any two angles by a simple pull and rotate action of the knob.

  • The angle between two adjacent pins is 10 degrees.

  • Technical Material: Aluminum, Polypropylene, Steel, Neoprene, Polyester, Polyamide.

How To Use
  • Ensure, that both the hinges are upright as per the arrow mark and the bending is in line with knee bending.
  • Affix the two hinges on the two sides of the knee joint so that the center of the MPFGD coincides with the axis of the knee.
  • Wrap the Velcro bands around the leg one by one carefully passing them through the slots in the PP buckle on the hinge
  • Fasten the Velcro strips with the reverse buckling to a comfortable, secure grip.
  • The angle of the knee or motion adjustment
  • First set the Flexion angle
  • Pull the knob lightly, rotate and release at the desired angle marked on the graduated disc.
  • Bend the knee and ensure the desired flexion angle of the knee is attained.
  • Then set the Extension angle.
  • Pull the knob on the extension side lightly, rotate and release at the desired angle marked on the graduated disc.
  • Repeat the above process for the other hinge.
  • Movement and Immobilisations:
  • When immobilization at a particular angle required
  • Move both, flexion as well as extension knobs  to the same  desired angle on the graduated disc
  • When flexion movement is required between any two angles
  • Move the flexion knob to the angle corresponding to a higher degree of angle and the extension knob to the hole corresponding to a lower degree of angle.
  • When neither flexion immobilization or flexion movement is required then both the pins be affixed at 0 / lock position
  • When free flexion movement of the leg. Place flexion knob at 120 degrees and extension knob at 0 degrees.

ROM Knee brace

The ROM knee brace is relatively lightweight, comfortable and easy to wear. After tearing an MCL, I've been using this for the last 4 weeks, 2 of which have been back at work. As a self employed carpenter, I've found the knee brace to function well, the only criticism I have is that the locking mechanism of the flexion and extension settings can get caught on stuff and move to the free position occasionally, I've broken one of them, yet it still locks into position, and the Velcro straps Allan be a little long. It's had a good test being that I've been quite active, so take that into consideration. It's been a great help in supporting and protecting my knee

Thanks so much for your feedback Gui!

R.O.M knee brace

I’m so happy with my Tynor knee brace, The support is amazing without feeling restricted. I can set it to keep my movements within a safe range, which is speeding my recovery. It fits great and when tightened from the lower strap first, it stays in place all day. Very happy indeed.
