Easwe S10 Standing Electric Wheelchair | NDIS | Australia

The Easwe S10 Standing Electric Wheelchair is an advanced powered mobility and rehabilitation device designed to assist users in transitioning between seated and standing positions at the push of a button. Unlike standard electric wheelchairs, the S10 integrates Body Weight Support Treadmill Training (BWSTT) technology — combining assisted standing, weight reduction, walking support, and powered mobility into a single system designed for lower limb rehabilitation and long-term independence. Built on an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy frame with a 500W brushless motor and a suspension belt system, the S10 is designed for use in home, community, and clinical rehabilitation settings. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia. This product is shipped directly from the Easwe factory — estimated delivery is 10–15 business days after order confirmation.
- Assisted Standing at the Push of a Button — the S10's motorised standing mechanism is designed to assist users in transitioning from a seated to a standing position, and back, without requiring full lower limb strength. This is designed to support postural health, improve circulation, and allow users to interact at eye level in daily environments.
- Body Weight Support Treadmill Training (BWSTT) Technology — the S10 incorporates BWSTT principles, integrating weight-bearing, stepping, and balance elements into a single device. This is designed to support early rehabilitation intervention for patients with lower limb dysfunction by facilitating gait training and balance recovery under controlled weight reduction.
- Suspension Belt for Weight Reduction Training — the built-in suspension belt is designed to reduce the load on the lower limbs during standing and walking training, supporting users with weak or spastic lower limbs to practise weight-bearing movements in a safer, controlled manner.
- Multifunctional Design — Sitting, Standing, Walking, and Mobility — the S10 combines four functions in one device: powered seated mobility, assisted standing, weight-supported walking, and rehabilitation training — reducing the need for multiple separate devices during recovery.
- 500W Brushless Motor — designed to assist smooth, controlled navigation across indoor and outdoor surfaces including gentle inclines up to 10°, supporting use in both clinical and home environments.
- Aerospace-Grade Aluminium Alloy Frame — the welded aerospace-grade aluminium frame is designed for long-term structural durability while supporting up to 109kg user weight, including during dynamic standing and walking training.
- Intelligent Safety System — electromagnetic braking system and high-performance brushless motor-driven wheels are designed to ensure controlled, safe movement during training sessions and everyday use.
- Shock-Absorbing Suspension System — suspension in both the seat and frame is designed to reduce impact during movement, supporting comfort during extended rehabilitation sessions.
- Adjustable Standing Support — the standing support and suspension system are adjustable to accommodate users of different heights and body types within the recommended user range.
The Easwe S10 may assist individuals and clinical settings in the following rehabilitation and mobility contexts:
- Lower limb dysfunction requiring gait training and standing rehabilitation
- Post-stroke recovery — early intensive walking therapy and prevention of uneven gait and spinal deformity
- Spinal cord injury rehabilitation — weight-bearing and stepping training under controlled conditions
- Traumatic brain injury or neurological conditions affecting lower limb function
- Cerebral palsy — reducing muscle atrophy and assisting lower limb motor function development
- Hemiplegia — balance and gait rehabilitation under guided weight reduction
- Post-surgical lower limb recovery requiring progressive weight-bearing under clinical guidance
- Long-term powered seated mobility where standing function is also a rehabilitation or daily living goal
Recommended for users between 150–190cm in height and up to 109kg in weight. Use of the S10 for rehabilitation training should be conducted under the supervision and guidance of a qualified physiotherapist or occupational therapist. NDIS participants should contact us to discuss funding eligibility and required assessments before purchasing.
- The S10 is shipped directly from the Easwe factory and arrives 95% pre-assembled. After receiving, install the battery and connect the controller as directed in the product manual.
- Attach the battery pack and secure the locking mechanism until it clicks firmly.
- Connect the smart joystick controller to the designated port and ensure it is firmly seated.
- Power on and verify the battery level indicator, braking system, and standing mechanism are functioning correctly before first use.
- Fit and adjust the suspension belt to the user's size and body weight with the guidance of a physiotherapist or occupational therapist before commencing standing or walking training.
- 1 × Easwe S10 Standing Electric Wheelchair
- 1 × 15.4AH Lithium Battery
- 1 × Battery Charger
- 1 × Smart Joystick Controller
- 1 × Suspension Belt
- 1 × Product Manual
- Wipe the frame and seating surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap — avoid abrasive cleaners. Do not submerge in water or use high-pressure cleaning.
- Inspect the suspension belt regularly for wear, fraying, or damage — replace if any signs of deterioration are present before continuing use.
- Store in a dry indoor area away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Charge the battery after each use and avoid allowing it to fully deplete before recharging.
- A comprehensive safety and mechanical inspection is recommended every three months given the dynamic standing and weight-bearing functions — contact us if any component requires attention.
- Standing and walking training using the S10 must be conducted under the supervision of a qualified physiotherapist or occupational therapist — do not commence standing training without professional clinical guidance.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 109kg.
- Do not use the standing function on inclines, ramps, or uneven surfaces — standing transitions should only be performed on flat, stable ground.
- Ensure the suspension belt is correctly fitted and secured before initiating any standing or walking training session.
- Reduce speed when navigating inclines or uneven surfaces in seated mode — exercise caution at all times.
- Always engage the electromagnetic brake when stationary, particularly during standing transitions.
- Do not modify the wheelchair or suspension system — modifications void the warranty and may affect structural and clinical safety.
- This device is not designed for use as a sole weight-bearing support without the suspension belt during standing training.
- Keep children away from the controls when the device is powered on.

How is the S10 different from other Easwe electric wheelchairs?
All other Easwe models are designed primarily for seated powered mobility. The S10 is the only model in the Easwe range designed to assist standing and walking rehabilitation. It incorporates BWSTT technology and a suspension belt system specifically for lower limb rehabilitation training — functions that standard electric wheelchairs do not provide. If your primary need is seated mobility rather than rehabilitation, the B10, G10, or another standard Easwe model is more appropriate.
Does the S10 require professional supervision to use?
For the standing and walking rehabilitation functions, yes — use of the standing mechanism and suspension belt system for gait training should be conducted under the guidance of a qualified physiotherapist or occupational therapist. The seated powered mobility function can be used independently, just like any other Easwe electric wheelchair. We strongly recommend a clinical assessment before purchase to confirm the S10 is suitable for your rehabilitation goals.
How long does delivery take?
The S10 is shipped directly from the Easwe factory. After order confirmation, estimated delivery to Australia is 10–15 business days. Please contact us if you have specific delivery requirements or if the item is needed for a clinical or NDIS-funded programme with a set commencement date.
Can I use NDIS funding to purchase the S10?
The Easwe S10 may be eligible for NDIS funding under Assistive Technology — Higher Cost, given its rehabilitation and standing functions. At this price point, an Assistive Technology Advisor (ATA) assessment and a formal OT report are typically required before NDIS will approve funding. Australian Healthcare Supplies is a registered NDIS provider and can assist with documentation, quotes, and supplier details required for your NDIS application. Contact us before purchasing to discuss the funding pathway for this product.
