Easwe G10 Reclining Electric Wheelchair | NDIS | Australia

The Easwe G10 Reclining Foldable Electric Wheelchair is a feature-rich, airline-approved powered mobility aid designed to help users move independently while supporting extended comfort during prolonged use. The G10 is the most comfort-focused model in the Easwe range — featuring a 90°–145° adjustable reclining backrest, recline-synced leg rests, a multi-directional headrest, and two 10.4AH lithium batteries included as standard for up to 45km range. Powered by a 500W brushless motor, fitted with LED headlights and a built-in USB charging port, and supporting up to 136kg, the G10 is designed for users who need both performance and all-day comfort in a foldable format. Supplied by Australian Healthcare Supplies, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, Western Australia.
- 90°–145° Reclining Backrest with Recline-Synced Leg Rests — the backrest is designed to recline to multiple positions between 90° and 145°, with leg rests that adjust in sync to help maintain comfortable lower limb positioning during recline. This is designed to assist pressure relief on the spine, hips, and legs during extended periods of sitting.
- Multi-Directional Headrest — the adjustable headrest is designed to support the head and neck in a range of positions, assisting postural comfort for users who require head and neck support during travel or rest.
- Dual 10.4AH Batteries Included as Standard — Up to 45km Range — unlike other models where the second battery is optional, the G10 comes with two 10.4AH airline-approved lithium batteries as standard. Both batteries are lab-tested for safety and designed to provide up to approximately 45km of range. Note: only one battery operates at a time — the second is a spare to be swapped in as needed.
- Built-In USB Charging Port — a dedicated USB port is designed to allow users to charge mobile devices, hearing aids, or other accessories directly from the wheelchair while on the go.
- 500W Brushless Motor — designed to assist smooth, powerful navigation over inclines up to 12°, gravel, and uneven terrain, with IPX5 waterproof rating for added protection against rain and splashes.
- LED Headlights — bright front-facing LED headlights are designed to improve visibility in low-light conditions, supporting safer use during evening outings or in dimly lit environments.
- 136kg Load Capacity — the highest load capacity in the Easwe range, designed to accommodate a wider range of users and body types.
- 360° LED Joystick Controller — the sensitive joystick controller allows precise speed adjustment, power on/off, and real-time battery monitoring with a clear display. Features a safety horn and dedicated charging port.
- Comprehensive Safety System — intelligent electromagnetic brake system, anti-tip rear wheels, and an aircraft-grade seat belt are designed to assist user stability and safety during everyday movement.
- Comfort Suspension System — shock-absorbing suspension in both the front wheels and seat is designed to reduce impact on uneven surfaces, supporting comfort during extended use.
- Compact Foldable Design — folds quickly for storage at home, loading into a car boot, or transport as mobility equipment on flights.
The Easwe G10 may assist individuals seeking powered mobility support with enhanced comfort features in the following situations:
- Limited lower-body mobility or inability to self-propel a manual wheelchair
- Conditions requiring postural support, pressure relief, or regular position changes during use
- Spinal, hip, or lower limb conditions where extended upright sitting is uncomfortable
- Reduced walking endurance due to age, illness, or physical condition
- Post-surgical or rehabilitation periods where walking is restricted
- Progressive conditions affecting mobility and posture (e.g. MS, Parkinson's, cerebral palsy, stroke recovery)
- Users requiring a higher load capacity than standard 113kg models
- Day-to-day independence at home, in the community, or while travelling
- Evening or low-light outings where LED headlights provide additional visibility
Recommended for users between 150–200cm in height and up to 136kg in weight. We recommend consulting a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or GP to confirm this model is suitable for your individual needs. NDIS participants should contact us to confirm funding eligibility before purchasing.
- The G10 arrives 95% pre-assembled — remove from packaging and unfold the frame by pressing the side release buttons and pulling upward on the seat until the frame locks into position.
- Attach the first battery pack to the rear of the wheelchair and secure the locking mechanism until it clicks firmly. Store the second battery safely for use when needed.
- Connect the joystick controller to the armrest port and ensure it is firmly seated.
- Power on using the joystick controller and verify the battery level, LED headlights, and display are functioning correctly.
- Adjust the footrests, leg rests, backrest recline, and headrest to suit the user's height, posture, and comfort before first use.

- Wipe the frame, seat cushion, and footrests with a damp cloth — do not submerge in water or use high-pressure cleaning.
- The breathable seat cushion cover may be removed and hand-washed — air dry only, do not tumble dry.
- Store in a dry location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Charge both batteries after extended use and avoid allowing either to fully deplete before recharging.
- Inspect tyres, brakes, recline mechanism, and joystick connection regularly — a comprehensive safety check is recommended every six months. Contact us if any component requires attention.
- Consult a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or GP before use to confirm this wheelchair is appropriate for your condition and individual needs.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 136kg.
- Only recline the backrest when the wheelchair is stationary — do not adjust the recline while in motion.
- Ensure leg rests are correctly locked into position after adjustment before moving.
- Reduce speed when navigating inclines, ramps, or uneven surfaces — exercise caution at all times.
- Do not submerge in water despite the IPX5 motor rating — avoid deep puddles and flooded areas.
- Only one battery operates at a time — do not attempt to connect both batteries simultaneously.
- Always engage the electromagnetic brake when stationary on a slope or incline.
- Do not modify the wheelchair or its components — modifications void the warranty and may affect safety.
- Keep children away from the joystick and controls when the wheelchair is powered on.

What makes the G10 different from the B10?
Both the G10 and B10 feature adjustable reclining backrests with headrests. The G10 offers a wider recline range (90°–145° vs the B10's range), includes two batteries as standard rather than as an optional upgrade, has a higher load capacity of 136kg vs 100kg on the B10, and adds LED headlights and a USB charging port not available on the B10. The G10 is the better choice for users who need maximum recline comfort, higher load capacity, or extended range without paying extra for a second battery. The B10 is the lighter, more compact option for users who primarily need seatback adjustment rather than full recline.
Can the G10 be used for extended periods of sitting?
The G10's 90°–145° reclining backrest, recline-synced leg rests, and multi-directional headrest are specifically designed to assist comfort and postural support during extended use. The breathable seat cushion is designed to assist air circulation during long periods of sitting. We recommend consulting an occupational therapist to confirm the seating configuration is appropriately set up for your individual postural and pressure care needs before relying on the chair for extended daily use.
Can I take the G10 on a plane?
The G10's 10.4AH lithium batteries are airline-approved and lab-tested to safety standards. We recommend contacting your airline in advance to confirm their specific wheelchair and battery policies, as requirements can vary by carrier and destination. Note that the G10 comes with two batteries — airlines may have requirements about transporting spare batteries.
Can I use NDIS funding to purchase the G10?
The Easwe G10 may be eligible for NDIS funding under Assistive Technology — Mid Cost or Higher Cost, depending on your plan and support needs. Given the G10's postural support and pressure relief features, an assessment from an occupational therapist is recommended to document clinical suitability and support the funding application.
