What makes the B10 different from all other Easwe wheelchairs?
The B10 is the only Easwe wheelchair with a motorised auto-folding mechanism. Every other model in the range — A10, B10, B20, C10, D10, E10, G10, L10 — requires manual folding. The F10 folds and unfolds at the press of a button on the included remote control or joystick, without any manual bending, lifting, or effort. This makes it particularly well-suited to users who regularly transfer in and out of vehicles independently, or whose carers have limited strength or mobility for manual folding. The B10 uses the same powerful dual 250W motor system as the A10, B20, and E10.
Can the auto-fold be used while seated?
No — the auto-fold mechanism must only be activated when no one is seated in the wheelchair. Activating the fold while occupied may cause tipping and serious injury. Always transfer out of the wheelchair before folding, and ensure the area is clear of bystanders before pressing the fold button.
Can I take the F10 on a plane?
The F10's lithium battery is UN38.3 certified and designed to meet international airline carry-on requirements. We recommend contacting your airline in advance to confirm their specific wheelchair and battery policies, as requirements can vary by carrier and destination.
Can I use NDIS funding to purchase the B10?
The Easwe B10 may be eligible for NDIS funding under Assistive Technology — Mid Cost or Higher Cost, depending on your plan and support needs. An assessment from an occupational therapist is typically required for powered mobility devices. Australian Healthcare Supplies is a registered NDIS provider. Contact us for assistance with your NDIS order.
